I never desire a woman the way I desire her. I stood in front of Salvation Army Shelter. I observe her sitting at the end of the driveway reading, "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks." She wore dirty sneakers torn on the side, her hair in a ponytail, her jeans where stained and she is overweight. I could see more in her, she returned my wallet with cash, credit card, my personal identification she could have easily stole it she was in need but she gave it back. She is homeless, she is a misfit in my life but so needed. Sachet Barnes is not your ordinary woman, she's unique, she's soft spoken, smart beyond belief. She is unorganized, she is sad, she is broken and strange. I can rebuild her self- esteem,I can make her into the Queen she deserves to be. I dreamed of her dressed in a wonderful peach dress, curls cascading down her back, no make-up, and on her hand his my wedding ring. I found my wife she just doesn't know it yet. Who am I? Montgomery Wolf Sinclair a man who gets what he wants. What I want right now is Sachet Barnes.
I took calculated steps towards her, she raised her head, ran her hand across her hair and put her book into her bag. She immediately replied,
"The five dollars I will give back. I just needed it to look for an apartment. I was tired of walking."
I sat next to her, she smelled like cheap soap, her fingernails where clean but chipped. She had high cheek bones, fat cheeks, thick eyebrows and her cinnamon colored eyes hung low.
"Look at me." She turned her head slowly and sucked in her lips. I took out my wallet, handed her a key to the room, three hundred-dollar bills and my cell phone number. I placed it in her hand and closed it.
"Meet me in this room at 7pm, sign out of this shelter and throw all those raggedy clothes in the trash. I am about to change your life."
"You want me to have sex with you and I am not that type of woman."
I smirked, run my thumb across my beard, licked my lips and smirked.
"Eventually we will have sex but not until I see if you qualify as my wife.Meet me there at 7pm."
"I don't go with strangers."
"You'll come because you want better for your life. See you later, Satchet and don't have me looking for you. I hate betrayal and you want to always remain my friend."
"I don't know your name."
"Montgomery Wolf Sinclair."
