All I ever wanted to do was save your life from the storms I saw coming your way. It was never my intentions to sail in and out of your life when the tide was unsettling. My fears of watching you lose was to bare. I would rather be blind than to know I could not save you. I was trying to be your life jacket because I knew you were drowning.
I saw the waves crashing and your screams for help became deafening. I hear your cries and with you at a distance I want to sail into your life.
Heal your wounds, assist in attacking your demons. Be the guiding light sailing in dark seas and show you their is a sunrise that comes in the morning.
On so many occasions I thought you were stronger than me. That in life challenges you had it handle now I understand you needed me to be your life boat. To handle the title waves of life. To love you through the storms taking away your breath. To resuscitate and give air to your lungs. I wish in some areas of your life you heard my pleads of loving you. That I wanted you safe in a situation design to destruct your entire being. To bury the King in you. To assault and assassinate your ability to see the structure of greatness. I am no longer your love but as friend for life please let me be your life boat.
