Bullets and Rose Thorns of Love
By Tamyara Brown
Kisses upon his lips. Seal the deal of our love and life together. Nothing could break the bond between us. Without vows spoken it was suppose to be death do us part.
Now left is bullet wounds in my heart. Blood on roses and thorns in my back from being deceived. He stripped my soul leaving only the remains of my Skelton. Broken pieces of my heart scattered on the floor while he walks out the door.
Fire shots of hate without a gun and now he is on the run. Leaving me to bleed and not trust.
Now my wounds have healed but the scars remain. Perception of love tainted. I will never look at roses because I'll be reminded of the pain the thorns and you have caused. I can never erase the traces of your kisses. The bullets wounds of hurt will forever be apart of me.
